Ayurvedic Park & Yoga

In the garden of Indian wisdom

Ancient Ayurvedic tradition has found a new home at Acquaforte Thalasso&Spa in Sardinia. The same gentleness, the same intensity,
the same wisdom. The result is our splendid Ayurvedic Park in the most secluded corner of our garden. The body, relaxes, it listens, and it is happy

From meditation, a new kind of suppleness.
From the age-old wisdom of the East comes the answer to the problems we suffer from today: stress and anxiety, not to mention bad posture and stiffness. We are talking about yoga, a meditative practice that combines a spiritual quest with a vision that regenerates the body and breathing. In keeping with the holistic vision of its treatments and in the peace of its garden, Acquaforte Thalasso&Spa has set aside a special area for yoga, its schools and its most authoritative maestros.

Ayurvedic counselling

Counselling with the aim of determining what the person experiences as internal imbalance and what they wish to achieve, through the holisticity of body, mind and spirit.

Abhyanga massage

Ayurvedic full-body massage using a warm blend of oils, ideal for physical and spiritual well-being.

Neerabhyangam

Purification and well-being are the goals of this Ayurvedic massage dedicated to the lymphatic drainage of toxins and metabolic waste products which are responsible for water retention and cellulite from the body.

Pindasweda

A relaxing massage in which special warm silk or cotton pouches filled with medicinal herbs are applied to the skin. It is one of the oldest treatments in the world and will bring numerous benefits not only to your body but also to your mind.

Shirodara - 4-hand treatment

This wonderful treatment consists of pouring warm medicated oil on the forehead, in the area between the eyebrows. The treatment is combined with traditional Ayurvedic massage.

Muri Abhyangam

Muri Abhyanga is a preventive discipline that makes the joints flexible and vigorous, strengthens and relaxes cartilage, eliminates tension and helps treat traumatic, rheumatic, respiratory, circulatory, joint and psychosomatic disorders.

Marmabhyangam

The guiding principle of Ayurveda is to harmonise the bodily rhythms with those of nature in order to ensure good health and prevent the onset of disease. One of the ways to create this balance is by massaging the 107 marma points that influence the chakras, physical health, the doshas, the qualities of the mind and the spiritual plane, because they can be considered the meeting point between eternity and relativity, between Conscious and matter.

Meditation (spiritual, mantra, mindfulness, transcendental)

Reunification of mind and body in a state of full and loving connection to the present. It consists of being able to focus attention on oneself, perceiving sensations, emotions, thoughts and perceptions.

Tibetan Mantra Bell + massage

Ancient practice connected to Buddhist spirituality dating back approximately 2000/2500 years. The acoustic massage is based on the principle that our body is like a delicate musical instrument which, if perfectly tuned, produces frequencies and energy waves that cause us pleasure and wellbeing but which can lose its vibratory harmony. If imbalances are created, due to stress and difficult moments in which negative emotions prevail, this can lead to problems involving the physical, mental and even emotional body.

ForteVeda Ritual

Customised work combining ancient Ayurvedic techniques to create a unique experience. Ritual conceived especially by our Ayurveda Master for Acquaforte SPA.
